The Hotel Metropole offers wonderfully spacious and beautifully decorated rooms that are well above average for Europe. The service is exceptional, with top-notch and very polite staff, particularly Julien the concierge, who was amazing and went above and beyond to assist with any inquiries. The location is excellent, overlooking Lake Geneva and close to shopping and great restaurants, although the room size could be a bit larger. The dining experience presents a traditional European spread but with some room for improvement regarding cleanliness. Overall, a luxurious stay with great value for money.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel enjoying a beautiful view of the lake from my third-floor room. The rooms were renovated with a modern style, offering amenities like Nespresso machines and high-tech features such as a TV built into the mirror and steam room showers. The service was exceptional, with professional and friendly staff always ready to assist. The hotel's location was perfect, overlooking Lake Geneva and close to shopping and great restaurants.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The Junior Suite was outstanding, bright, and comfortable with a great steam/shower. The staff was incredibly nice, and the location was perfect. However, I felt that the price I paid didn't quite match my expectations.
I felt like I was in a 3-star hotel with the exquisite and 20-feet-tall rooms, but the issue with flies when the window was left open. The upgrade to a Lifestyle Room with a view of the lake was a nice touch, but overall, the place has a mixed feel.
